Group Sections

Scouting is organised into age-appropriate sections for our young people, Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers.

The 31st Wakefield Scout group contains four of these sections, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers, catering for children and young people from ages 6-18. We are a part of the Wakefield District scouts, one of eight districts which makes up the Central Yorkshire county. The scouting family welcomes new members of all ages, whether young people, or adult volunteers, please contact us for more information on options to join your local branch of the worldwide scouting family.
