Scouting actively engages and supports young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society. Scouts develop skills including teamwork, time management, leadership, initiative, planning, communication, self-motivation, cultural awareness and commitment.
As a small local community group, we rely on donations and fundraising to help provide the best opportunities to our children, who range from 5-14. Even the smallest amount of money makes a difference to the range and quality of activities we are able to provide. Please help us if you are able.
There are two ways to support our group:
Fundraise for us whilst you shop with EasyFundraising and it wont cost you a penny. Shop online with a selection of top high street and online retailers via easy fundraising and a percentage of your purchase will be donated to us automatically without costing you anything.
Our current appeal is to raise £500 to purchase new tents and camping equipment for our group so we can offer nights away for all the children and help them to explore nature and outdoor activities. Please visit our Just Giving page to donate any amount.
